its just pathetic that we have banned this. With the amount of illegal weapons on the streets here and then Chicago too wich can nly be 10 times worse. All the criminals get the guns. Law abiding citzens just get treated like them. And Chicago with its huge murder rate and intense gangbanging. They really think they are keeping weapons off the street with a CC ban??? They are insane.

Yeah, I'm one of the few pro-bill of rights people in my own damned state. I wish Illinois would leave Gun Control to the county legislatures, since Chicago always decides how things go down here in the southern part of the State.

Better yet, let's just seccede from Illinois and become our own state since the more conservative folks live down here and I'm sick of Chicago picking our electoral votes and State laws.

Democrats have a stranglehold on Chicago and the central cities. It's not really that fair or free.

Permits turn your 2nd amendment "rights" into a "privilege". Shouldn't need anything to own and carry what your 2nd amendment already grants you.
Do you see what is happening?

Then you should not need a permit, license, or permission to do anything that makes you happy (see "pursuit of happiness").

Nothing is absolute, thank God. There are limits on everything, live with them, or develop ulcers, or high blood pressure.

Default Not All Laws Alike.

Most City, County, and State laws require that Citizens have a
gun handlers (CCW) permit. I have two types of permits that I
carry with me at all times. (1): Is a Company issued permit which
allows me to have a sidearm as I work, and my other permit allows
me to carry my personal weapon when off duty.

I believe strongly in the 2nd admendment, but there is certain laws
and rules that's within the 2nd admendment, and I do NOT want to
have any conflict with the law concerning my weapons.

I do not advise anyone to carry a gun without a permit. Unless you're
a pre-meditated law breaker, and think that you won't get caught.
I do believe that each State MIGHT have different laws, but the best
thing to do is to check with your local, County, or State offices, and
its always better to be safe then sorry.

Hey there bubba...Without Chicago and Cook County and their tax base, Illinois would resemble a third world country. We pay for the rest of the state, and Springfield knows it.

By The way...both Blaggy and Obama won BIG in most all the Counties outside the Cook and the Collar Counties, so dont make it sound like downstate, Northern and northwestern Illiniois are a right wing forteress..because that is not the case..far from it

Just ask that psycho Alan Keyes and that old hag Judy Barr Topinka

As for you being pro "Bill of rights" I would bet dollars to doenuts that you are anti choice, and believe in vouchers, and in prayer in public schools

So let me coorect you, you are not Pro bill of rights, you are not even pro second amendment, becuase you seem to think it says that private ownership of firearms without regulation and with impunity is a right. That is NOT what it says,. and NO Supreme court has ever ruled that it has.

Let me say again, in case you and your penis vicariious buds missed it.

Now, you have been educated

My opinions on Abortion is that the correct, legal way is for it to be delegated to the State Governments. I've stated before I support school vouchers, nothing new there. I don't support forced prayer in school idiot. I would see no problem with prayer by students and teachers not during class time for any religion, on 1st Amendment grounds.

So let me correct you. I have a right to protect my property from crime. Either my self or my home. Government does not permit rights, they
acknowledge them, that goes for all rights listed and not listed in the Constitution.

I have a right to carry a firearm, despite what the Legislating judiciary says. Oh, how is that gun control working for you up north with the runaway crime?...

Default Simple Question

All the concerns with carry permits...has anyone holding such a permit been found to have participated in a mass shooting?
How about statistics on permit holders committing gun crimes?
I'm betting the answers won't come out the way the gun control crowd would like.
