Right to Bear Arms leads to deaths only recently?
The Bath School disaster is the name given to three bombings in Bath Township, Michigan, USA, on May 18, 1927, which killed 45 people and injured 58. Most of the victims were children in the second to sixth grades attending the Bath Consolidated School. Their deaths constitute the deadliest act of mass murder in a school in U.S. history. The perpetrator was school board member Andrew Kehoe, who was upset by a property tax that had been levied to fund the construction of the school building. He blamed the additional tax for financial hardships which led to foreclosure proceedings against his farm. These events apparently provoked Kehoe to plan his attack.
On the morning of May 18, Kehoe first killed his wife and then set his farm buildings on fire. As fire fighters arrived at the farm, an explosion devastated the north wing of the school building, killing many of the people inside. Kehoe used a detonator to ignite dynamite and hundreds of pounds of pyrotol which he had secretly planted inside the school over the course of many months. As rescuers started gathering at the school, Kehoe drove up, stopped, and detonated a bomb inside his shrapnel-filled vehicle, killing himself and the school superintendent, and killing and injuring several others. During the rescue efforts, searchers discovered an additional 500 pounds (230 kg) of unexploded dynamite and pyrotol planted throughout the basement of the school's south wing.
Charles Joseph Whitman (June 24, 1941 – August 1, 1966) was a student at the University of Texas at Austin who shot and killed 14 people (including those who later died as a result of their injuries) and wounded 31 others from the observation deck of the University's Main Building of The University of Texas at Austin on August 1, 1966. He did this shortly after murdering his wife and mother. He was eventually shot and killed by Austin police.
April 9, 1891 70 year old James Foster fires a shotgun at a group of male students in the playground of St. Mary's Parochial School, causing minor injuries to several of the students.
May 4, 1956 After being suspended for brandishing a knife at school, Billy Ray Prevatte arms himself with a .22 caliber-rifle and shoots an English teacher, a gym classroom instructor and a shop teacher, leaving them in wounded conditions.
June 4, 1936 Wesley Crow shot and killed his Lehigh University English instructor, C. Wesley Phy. Crow went to Phy's office and demanded that Mr. Phy change his grade to a passing mark. Crow committed suicide after shooting Phy.
November 13, 1949 Ohio State University freshman James Heer of Euclid, Ohio grabbed a .45 caliber handgun from the room of a Delta Tau Delta fraternity brother and shot and killed Jack McKeown, 21, of Norwood, Ohio, a Ohio State senior and fraternity brother.
May 15, 1954 Putnam Davis Jr. was shot and killed during a fraternity house carnival at the Phi Delta Theta house at the University of North Carolina. William Joyner and Allen Long were shot and wounded during the exchange of gunfire in their fraternity bedroom. The incident took place after an all night beer party. Mr. Long reported to the police that, while the three were drinking beer at 7am, Davis pulled out a gun and started shooting with a gun he had obtained from the car of a former roommate.
These are just a few from the United States. School violence is not new, nor is the use of Guns, Knives or Explosives. Matter of fact, these are just the ones that made National headlines.
I do not see any link between the Bill of Rights and these crimes. Matter of fact if people where properly aware in some of these cases, they would not have happened. So they rely on Government intervention instead of Schools providing there own security.
Sometimes you just have to accept the fact that bad things happen. Whether it be with a knife or gun. And realize that an armed populace is the best deterrent to Crime and Government backed Tyranny.

It shows that disarming the innocent does nothing to stem the fact that there are evil people, and these people will use whatever is available. Whether they use a gun, a knife, a baseball bat, a car, a truck, a lead pipe, their intent is to do harm, maim, and eventually kill the weak.

CRIMINAL CONTROL > NOT GUN CONTROL
If the dumbass court system ever tried it, they would find out how well it works.

Another big problem these days is the bargains they make with criminals. It is like wholesale justice. They are so determined to get the one they think is the big fish they make deals with the lower criminals instead of doing there job better. A lot of this came about when they started the war on drugs. All the money and time is put into special drug units. These idiots way of solving problems is negligable at best.

Which is why I believe the Prohibition on Narcotics does nothing but make it harder to combat Violent Crime and Narcotics Abuse.
