Let's see, the computer models that the climate change deniers say are bogus are predicting global cooling so that means Al Gore is an idiot for believing the computer models.

That is the trifecta of global warming denial:
- the models are wrong
- the models are right
- Al Gore is an idiot
Therefore climate change isn't happening.

Next thing we know, they will say that the history of the oil industry that says that the cost of oil will increase exponentially until sustainable substitutes are found is totally bogus, because the price of oil goes up, the price of oil goes down, the price goes up, the price goes down, so that proves that Texas will soon supply the entire world with oil when the super duper super giant biggest fuckin oil field ten times larger than Ghawar is found in Texas.

Global warming is real. Hell, I even heard Bush stutter it through his second grade speaking ability, so it has to be true. I find it kind of contradicting though, considering the fact that the Bush administration didn't even enforce the Clean Air Act at most times.

Also, it was reported by the Union of Concerned Scientists that ExxonMobil has spent $16 million in funding of specialized groups to create confusion on global warming. Through these groups, ExxonMobil can spread false information about global warming (perhaps like the "Unstoppable Solar Cycles" DVD).

Just as long as they vote against the man who is more opposed to global warming and calling for more stringent action to fight global warming than Gore when running for president in 2000: John McCain.

I heard that the oil companies used huge rafts of styro foam to make it look like the sea ice was at record levels, these assholes have even manages to sabatoge survey equipment to make it look like there is a record ice pace in the polar regions. these are some evil SOB's and we should kill everyone of them.

Isn't the world getting warmer a good thing? I mean doesn't more land become availabe to farm in places too cold now? Maybe it will get warm enough to grow pineapples in florida, again, like 100+ years ago.

Would it be better if the earth was getting cooler? I haven't ice skated since I moved out of NH. Ice skating in NC would be cool. But wouldn't that cause problems too? We would have to burn more fuel to keep warm. wouldn't that be hard on the poor?
