People seem to be ignoring the cause of this and just reacting to the symptoms. Were not the only ones buying oil from OPEC. China and Indias economies are on the rise and demand from those two countries have skyrocketed. Simple supply and demand. When demand goes up, so does the price.

If it was up to the TAXAKKKRATS we'd be paying $10/gal., $9.50/gal being all taxes.
