It really doesn't.
If we are headed for a 3 degree shift as most scientists say and it will cause the droughts and polar melting they fear, and there is plenty of evidence to point to the fact they are right about that.
Then I say there can be no better use of my tax money than to figure out how we counter act this in our food supply. And what it will mean for parts of the country all ready hard pressed in shortages of water.
Man made, natural occurance.
Doesn't matter.
If its coming, we should be doing something to make sure we can feed and provide water to the nation.
That research will pay off in the long run anyway. It will pay dividends in new ways to manage water resources and increased food production in areas that need that climate change or no climate change.
So lets not be short sighted and bite our own noses off to spite our faces, okay men?
