Could someone provide evidence that humans can't have some effect on the climate other than "It is egocentric to think that we have an effect, thus we don't have an effect." We can bring this whole planet into nuclear winter if we wanted to. I think we can have an effect.

One of big names from the Climate Denier branch of the Flat Earth Society, Roy Spencer, has even apologized to Rush for being so gullible to bite on this fraud. Poor Rush. Poor Roy.

I require more proof than I have seen so far. It is important to understand that even if it turns out that the Roy Spencer book is fraud, it does not mean that manmade global warming is genuine. It only means that one argument is not true.

But then neither has terrorism, yet I don't know any rational person that would argue currently that nothing should be done about it, because it hasn't affected my immediate vicinity.

It is prudent to prepare for anticipated adverse events, be they human or natural. That is what should be taken from the current status of global warming knowledge.

You hae dozens on these threads daily advocating an end to going after terrorist. They refuse to believe that terrorism is real, even after the WTC attacks. So, they may be irrational, and I think they are but I also believe those who think we are the cause of global warming and its something new and inevitable are irrational. Your entire argument seems to be that we might be the cause of global warming, something that may negatively impact us so we should do something, no matter how much it cost and how much we destory our economy and our way of life we should do something.

So tell what effect does the sun since all the global warming nuts never talk about the sun.

Shouldn't a warming trend or cooling trend start with the heat source.

LOL Your being ridiculous. Conventional wisdom is that climate is a natural phenomena and it is you AGW'ers who are asserting that man is the cause and we are heading for disaster. It is YOUR responsibility to PROVE AGW, not the other way around.

So then you have no facts to dispute that scientist have proven we are in a cooling trend.

You see we did not have global warming only climate change which is a natural thing that never stops.
