The voices of the few (unqualified) are magnified to be equal to the voices of the many. Sad huh?

Still sippin' the Kool-Aid, huh?
"The computer models consistently predict that global warming due to increasing greenhouse gases should show up as strong warming in the tropics," Christy said.
Even with a recent data correction that added tropical warming to the dataset, however, the satellite data still shows that the tropical atmosphere has warmed by only 0.19 C — just over one-third of a degree Fahrenheit — in 27 years.
Neither Spencer nor Christy receives any research support or funding from oil, coal or industrial companies or organizations, or from any private or special interest groups. All of their climate research funding comes from state and federal grants or contracts.

Ok, I'm as skeptical of global warming as anyone, especially man made. I can only think of one thing that could change my mind, debate. If Al Gore could kick Ross Perots ass in a NAFTA debate on Larry King, then why couldn't he do the same against some pointy head on global warming? I am a tv news junky from all sources. I have never witnessed a pro vs con debate on the subject. Why is this?
Also, why is every single solution for man made global warming a plank in the democratic platform? Why are all of the ramifications of warming negative? Are there no positives?
The biggest question of all, who is making the money on this issue? Always follow the money.
