So where is Barack Obama?

At least the Canadian Government had values and principals today they condemned the brutal Iranian regime after news broke that the government was shooting protesters in cold blood.

Will Obama speak out for these Iranian protestors that want a democracy as well as freedoms and basic human rights? If Obama is a representative of the people of the United States of America and our Constitution he would certainly speak up for people dying at the hands of an oppressive dictatorship. This is a Dictator telling his army to go out and kill protestors because they are protesting for a democratic government, human rights, and freedom. Will Obama be brave for a change and stand up for what is right? I doubt it.

It's not like there's anything he can do. If they are willing to die, in larger numbers, for freedom, they can get it. If not, like most people, then it's pretty much nothing but bitch, bitch, bitch until a few thousand of them are willing to take a bullet in the head. Revolutions are paid for in blood. They cannot be sustained by outside forces, and a grand political statement means nothing except the price of gas is going up. In a shitty economy he knows the implications. He's our Head of State, he has to. You, on the other hand, can rally the troops till the cows come home, and you will make no difference at all, so stop calling out others for not taking a stand when the only people in the whole damn world who matter are the ones who have to be WILLING to die to get what they want.

Why would Obama start something new? He had a golden opportunity to light the fire of revolution there with some very cheap and very time tested methods, but instead voted "present". Just like every other opportunity in his life to actually make a difference, he passed.Anyone that thinks that the President of the United States, as incompetent and worthless as this one is, cannot make a difference by speaking out, is a moron.

The Iranian regime is an enemy of the US, Israel and the civilized world. We have the chance to bring it down from the inside with a little help or wait on Israel to do the job.
