Received an email alert from NewsMax.com this AM stating that vengeful democrats are seeking the head of Cheney on an impeachment platter so that he cannot become president if GWB is impeached, BUT they have no teeth since DC has broken no laws. It is, therefore, destined to be found dead on the floor. Cannot gain steam since they have no legal basis for impeachment....just great dislike of the men Bush and Cheney. That is not a basis for impeachment. Too bad. They will be in office until their term expires. Get over it, Kucinich and Klan.

"BUT they have no teeth since DC has broken no laws."
>>>FOTM is, nobody knows whether or not he has broken laws. My guess (if gut feeling is good enough for Chertoff) is that Cheney has broken a hundred laws if not committed outright treason. How many criminals do you know who are able to withhold evidence?

Now that's consistency: "Nonviolent offenders should not be serving hard
time in our prisons." -Sen. Hillary Clinton, Democrat debate, 28 June
[The decision to commute Scooter Libby's prison sentence] is yet another example that this Administration simply considers itself above the law... This commutation sends the clear signal that in this Administration, cronyism and ideology trump competence and justice." -Sen. Hillary Clinton, 2 July press release
Chutzpah: "I think there are guidelines for what happens when somebody is convicted...[T]his is consistent with their philosophy; they believe that they should be able to do what they want to do, and that the law is a minor obstacle." -Hillary Clinton, apparently reflecting on the Clinton administration

Many people may not like Bush/Cheney and many people think that Bush is stupid, but even they must know that he would not take any action without the advice of legal counsel. If his legal advisors advise him, then he has not broken any laws. If he has broken laws following their advice, would they not ALSO be guilty of breaking the laws and advising him to? People may THINK he is stupid, but do they believe he is THAT stupid? For any president to go against the advice of his legal counsel would be stupid and foolish. He hasn't done that. So maybe it is his legal counsel who is stupid, foolish and criminal. Whaddayathink?

The well being of the nation is meaningless to these partisan hacks. They defend these fuckers like dietys. This amongest many other reasons is why its hystericaly bizaro world for you three toothed ignorant hicks to be talking about inteligence when you cant see past the fundemental fact that every fucking poltican is a crook. When you fanatic nationalist fucks allow them carte blanch they will use it and it is illegal.

Check out the background of David Addington and the advice he gives, I think you are quite idealistic (at best) in the way you frame this. Essentially it is like saying Johnny Cochran gets a pass for what he did for OJ Simpson.

No, that would be a misinterpretation of what I stated. Closer would be that O.J. Simpson got a pass for what Johnny Cochran did for O.J. O.J. got off because he is a rich, famous athlete with past years of glory and they do NOT go to jail. The rich and pretty do NOT go to prison.

Then you are saying Libby got off because of his rich/high up connections?
