Default Schools divided by Race, Religion & Class.........................you guessed it!

Looks like Israeli schools are in need of those 'pennies programs'...Israel needs Pennies against racism and books on how to create human beings that can get along with each other..
This article is saying..that after all the machinations of 70 years of Jews on stolen Palestinian land and telling lies that it's their homeland..they've instituted a social system almost reminiscent of India's cast system.....I just love it..It must be great to be a Jew anywhere and to know your place!
What a 'light unto Nations'...you've got to be kidding!!

Report: Israeli schools divided by race, religion and class
    By BEN HARTMAN

Israel's education system does not provide equal learning opportunities for all students regardless of race, religion or social standing, a report released on Wednesday claims.

The report, compiled by the Adva Center for equality and social justice and entitled "Segregation, Inequality, and Weakened Leadership," bases its findings on statistics including class size and budget allotments, as well as academic achievement among the separate branches of Israeli schools. The report found glaring differences between poor and rich Israelis, Jewish and Arab students and Orthodox and secular institutions.

The report states that the government has allowed for the formation of two largely independent school systems; religious schools and big-city schools with a high percentage of wealthy students, thereby increasing the divide between pupils.

This fosters "natural selection" within the school system, the report concludes, in that the state allows wealthy parents to fund more and more of the operating costs of their children's schools, resulting in what amounts to a different public school system for children of the wealthy.

The report also takes issue with the different curriculums taught in each school system - curriculums largely determined by the financial donors of the institutions. The system is worsened, according to the report, by the fact that the Education Ministry is incapable of regulating the amount of money being raised by schools to pay for extra-curricular activities. According to the report, there is basically no uniform state curriculum.

Noga Dagan-Buzaglo, who worked on the report for Adva, said the organization feels the way to correct the Israeli educational approach "is to return to the days where the state was the only factor responsible for the curriculum and funding of schools."

Dagan-Buzaglo blamed what she called the decline in importance of education and the Education Ministry for politicians, saying the decline stood in stark contrast to earlier days in Israel when the Education Ministry was a prestigious and valued ministry to work for.

In addition, Dagan-Buzaglo said Israel should consider some sort of affirmative action to help poorer schools make up for the disparity in funding between them and schools attended by richer pupils.

The Adva Center is funded by the New Israel Fund.

The Education Ministry would not comment on the report on Wednesday, saying it would wait until it had studied the report to issue a response.

Too much God, not enough simple human decency. That's been Israel's main problem all along so this report is, of course, no surprise.

There's no such thing as a "Palestinian", the land was not "stolen" but was rather the result of post WWI euros drawing lines on a map after the breakup of the Ottoman empire.

    Read a history book, dumbass.

I could care less about what they do, teach or how they do it..
I care that they use my money..All that money is from Tax Exempt American money, sent to Israel through faux Israeli Tax Free charitable fronts..

They are stealing from Americans just as they are stealing land and building more Illegal settlements from the Palestinians.. to create more monstrous thieving, murderous Jews..

He's more correct than you are. When Israel was established in '47-48, it created the Palestinians because there had to be a distinction between Israeli and non-Israeli in the protectorate known for ages as Palestine. The Zionists brought the Palestinians into existence, they just can't stand that they did.

As for the land, it was "taken" from the many hard working Arabs who "owned" it, as much as anyone on this planet can "own" land. When the Arabs finally push Israel into the sea, they will once again "own" the land and it won't really matter a damn what anyone else thinks. That's not only the history of that little neck of the woods, the rest of human history has followed the same pattern. If you are willing to slaughter, steal, cheat, and die for land, you can "own" it as long as all those factors stay true. See: America, the Slaughter of Native Americans.

    Ethnically: Jordanian
    Culturally: Jordanian
    Language: Same as Jordan

The UK and US have more differences compared to Palestinians and Jordanians. There are no palestinian people. They are an expansion of Jordanians.

Ohhhhh - UN bureaucrats can create an ethnic group by fiat? Here, lemme try: I hereby declare you, your family, and everyone on your street to be, uh....... Zombosoids, and you should have a seat at the UN.

Uh, no actually in preparation for what was planned as the 1948 invasion which would be the FINAL "final solution" to the jews by six arab armies, the heterogeneous arabs there followed the arab command to leave the area to clear the way for the slaughter. What country would want such devils back in their midst?

That's surely ineffective. Perhaps a great philosopher should come along and invent a new way for everything to be warm and fuzzy. Then we can all sit in a drum circle and sing together.

Why would you say it's ineffective? It's not like the Indians or the Germans are running the place at the moment, and we were perfectly willing to kill both of them in mass numbers. It looks to me, and the rest of the world, that it works like a charm. Just trying holding a country together when you are unwilling to do such things because that's when the real trouble begins.

That great philosopher you spoke of has appeared to us many times throughout history. In the US we're about to celebrate the birthday of one of them. His name was Yeshua but we call his birthday Christmas. He was all about a Higher Purpose and war wasn't on His shortlist, not even a war with Rome.
