I've listened off and on to Rush since the late 80's. I always considered him a talk show host, nothing more or less. I've disagreed with him over the years on a variety of subjects.

I think he looks at things with a lot of common sense. His conservative roots always come through and he doesn't try to hide who he is, but his ideas are usually grounded in common sense, imo.
I guess I have several questions for any liberal/independents/dems that have ever really listened to him.
1) All excuses aside, AirAmerica has struggled for listeners since its inception while Rush steadily increased his audience. Why were the people so hungry for a Rush type talk show host? And if, as you people seem to believe, the majority of the country thinks like you, why hasn't AirAmerica been as successful?
2) Can one of you provide a verifiable LIE that Rush has spoken? Not something that doesn't jive with your ideology, but a verifiable lie?
3) Can you provide one verifiable instance of racism from Rush? I hear him saying the same to all people. Success is there if you work for it.
