The American dream has always held that each generation will see a higher standard of living that the last.
That may not be the case anymore.

American men in their 30s earn LESS than their fathers' generation did at the same age according to a study released Friday.

Family incomes of thirysomething men have continued to rise in recent decades because more of their wives are working, the study authors added.

In 2004, the median income for a man is his 30s was $35,010, 12 percent less than thirtysomething men in 1974(about the time of the advent of the “women's lib movement), adjusted for inflation, according to the study which was based on the Census Bureau data.

The influx of well-educated women into the work force since the 1970s might have exerted downward pressure on men's wages.

Among those younger than 50, 32 percent of women hold a four-year degree, compared with 23 percent of men.

Outsourcing and the demise of higher-paying manufacturing jobs have contributed to the stagnation of men's incomes.

I might add that another study found that the best paying job a new male high school graduate could find was the US Army. I guess all males are good for in this new neonazi society is to provide protection for the working women!

So tell me, why do neocon males vigorously support a system that is royaly screwing them|?

Where are all of those male neocons who love to defend the conservative/capitalistic American system?
