Reinstate the DRAFT!!!

I have already posted my thoughts on mandatory federal service. I for one don't support a draft. Rasta and others here keep saying that the Bush twins should be sent to war. Did any of you fine Americans say the samething about Clintons daughter when he sent troops to Kosovo and Somalia?

If are willing to look at history, it has always been the poor man that has fought his nations wars. Many people found that the military gave them an oppturnity to grow as a person and to learn. Look at IKE. He was brought up in Abline KS. His family was poor but through the military, he found a pathway to the white house. There are many other success stories from people that served in the military and then went on to greatnest.

Clinton didn't invade any countrys after lieing about WMD,he only lied about a blow job.apples and oranges

I don't eat fruit, but you seem able to totaly ignore the orginal thread about the draft.

Tell me how Kosovo and Somalia equal War and Occupation of Iraq????

Kosovo and Somalia is not costing billions of dollars, thousands of military members killed, wounded and crippled that Iraq is costing in taxes, federal budget, resources and personnel. You are comparing apples and oranges in my opinion.

I wasn't talking about the cost in dollars or lives lost in Kosovo or Somalia in comparision to Irag. All I was saying is that it wasn't just Republicans that send our soldiers to war. Still did Chelsea serve?
