Last night, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) gave a short talk and Q&A at at the National Press Club about his book “Saving Freedom.” DeMint told a room of around 100 people about a conversation he’d had with an Iranian immigrant who was panicking about the surge of government spending and control under President Obama and the Democrats. Americans should listen to immigrants like her, said DeMint.

They understand socialism. They understand tyrants. But none of us have ever had it here. We don’t even know what it looks like. Part of what we’re trying to do in “Saving Freedom” is just show that where we are, we’re about where Germany was before World War II where they became a social democracy. You still had votes but the votes were just power grabs like you see in Iran, and other places in South America, like Chavez is running down in Venezuela. People become more dependent on the government so that they’re easy to manipulate. And they keep voting for more government because that’s where their security is. When our immigrants get here, they’re worried, because they see it happening here.

DeMint worried that it was the “eleventh hour” for freedom, but he disputed a question from a man who wondered if America was ripe for another revolution. “The reason I’m convinced we can do this in a civilized way is that I’ve seen, on a number of issues, that when people get informed and want to change their government, the government will change.”

Speaking of Germany.....

Many people in Germany are saying our 9/11 event is the same as the German Reichstag event which was the key event to establish Nazi Dictatorship.

The Reichstag Fire was the burning of the Parliment Building in Berlin on the night of Feb 27, 1933. This fire was contrived by the newly formed Nazi government itself to turn public opinion against its opponents and to "Assume Emergency Powers".

Hitler's dictatorship began with the enactment of a decree "For the Protection of the People and the State".

Right after 9/11 the Bush administration tried to push through many "emergency" bills. One of which got passed gave the Presidential Seat the complete control ot the U.S. military without having to go through Congress to send us to war. Now Congress is a moot point and the Presidential Seat is now a Dictatorship with ONE MAN in total control of the most powerful military in the world. There is no more "Congressional Declaration of War".

Another of which got passed through Congress as an "emergency" pushed bill...now ANYONE can be arrested and detained FOREVER by just saying they are a suspected terrorist and we DO NOT GET DUE PROCESS OF THE LAW!!!

Many more bills even worse than this were attempted to be shoe-horned in the day after the manipulated event of 9/11!

We damn near are a complete Dictatorship...all we need now is another manipulating event.

If anyone had an I.Q. high enough to see the "big picture" then you could see the slow and steady manipulating events that are leading this country toward a very clear and distinct goal.

Interesting how we are being pick-pocketed of the very freedoms we are told are being attacked, while our attention is turned toward a foreign(framed) enemy.

The anthrax threat just after 9/11 was going to be a link from terrorist sleeper cells to Iraq but a whistle blower scientist proved that the anthrax came from a military base right here in the United States. The scientist then allegedly commit suicide and now his wife blames the U.S. Government.
