    Jon Voight speaks
    By Michelle Malkin • June 9, 2009 02:46 PM

It’s so rare to hear a Hollywood dissident speak as candidly as Jon Voight did last night at the NRSC-NRCC fund-raiser last night. Brave man. Here’s the clip. And thank you, too, Mr. Voight!

"I want people to take thought about their condition and to recognize that the maintenance of a free society is a very difficult and complicated thing and it requires a self-denying ordinance of the most extreme kind. It requires a willingness to put up with temporary evil on the basis of the subtle and sophisticated understanding that if you step in to do something about them, you not only may make them worse, but you will spread your tentacle and get bad results elsewhere."

I like Voight as an actor but that's about it. There is a reason his daughter Angie doesn't speak to him much anymore. Many actors out there 'think, or 'feel the same way he does. They either don't want to talk openly about politics, or they figure it's their right to keep their thoughts to themselves. Maybe it's both. Like I said, I like his acting, but he still strikes me as a bit odd.

  3. So when actors speak out for the left, the right tells them to shut up and act. When they speak out for the right they are heroes.

    Makes sense...

I nominate Jon Voight for President and Craig T. Nelson as VP in 2012.

Voit is a zionist who is pissed at Bam Bam because he wants to curb israeli expansionism in the M.E.

Only another zionist cocksucker would post this communist's bullshit.
I shall give you my sincere advice. First to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom - Martin Luther on the Jews

    EVERYONE IS MILITIA

You mean when Sean Penn goes and sucks Hugo Chavez's dick, that's OK. Right? Voight spoke his mind just like Sean Penn and all the others. I don't much give a fuck what any hollyweird faux celebs say on any side of the political coin. The difference here is that Voight spoke from a perspective that you rarely see from hollywood. This is what makes this news. It's not news when one of the hollywood kooks like Jineane Garafalo opens her yap and speaks about something she knows nothing about.

And his daughter isn't odd? Perhaps there is blame on BOTH sides to their situation. Usually that is the case, that or one of them misinterprets the others words or actions. No one but them know the truth, and last I knew, they were talking again.
