george, you are really twisted in this post. I just wish you would explain to me why you are so anti-Isreal. Just picture the county you live in in AZ. You are trying to protect your county and the surronding counties are saying that the land belonged to them and they wanted it back. Would you fight or just give up?

If I was Isreali I may have responded in a similar way in defence of my country. That doesn't mean I support them though. It is a precarious country created for dubious reasons. I think it should be left well alone.

Israel wasn't created for dubious reasons, in my opinion. Israel was created so that they couldn't be destroyed after Hitler's genocide. If they have their own state and government, there is little chance of that government deciding to wipe them from the face of the Earth.
As for their enemies, this is nothing new. It began with Ishmael and Isaac. God foretold that the two's descendants would never peacefully coexist.
The only problem I have is that there have been several genocides, and many of those oppressed have never been given their own country, and perhaps Israel could have been formed in a less controversial area of the globe.
