Mel, if Clinton did something that has a bearing on current events then we should be able to discuss it. For one he labeled OBL a terrorist, but then again you would have me beleive that Bush decided on his own that there are people out there that want to destroy this country.

r8 i totally agree with you. Some things we as citizens dont need to know. Especially when it comes to our national security and military secrets. But using the arguments that many libs have used you would assume that they would change their mind or atleast question there hero CLINTON.
because you know for a fact that people like spitty, rasta and all of the other clowns would be all over bush if he was the one signing his name

Gix, you must admit that Clinton had to work within the frame of Checks and Balances and GOP Congressional Oversight. Having said that, with the GOP majority Congress providing Oversight....do you really think the GOP Majority Congress during the Clinton Administration would have stood by and let the "Executive Branch" or the W.H. "Step all over the Constitution?????
Now speaking of Stepping All Over the Constitution for Political Agendas....you Need to look no further than GW Bush; who has had absolutely no Congerssinal Oversight the last 6 years b/c the GOP Majority stood by and have given Bush everything his Administration has asked for; and have turned a blinds eye---and failed to provide Congressional Oversight to investigate the laws broken by the Bush Administraion.

No Gix... When Clinton works over the Constitution it's over a blow job or from the proof above, little green men. When W tramples it you have big brother tapping your phone and spying on peace groups. Oh yeah... and you get a WAR.
You can't compare Clinton to Bush... See Clinton was in that "head start gifted class" and W is PROUD of his C grade average career.

blah blah blah. Convenient but not suprising response from you. Are you sure the DNC doesn't pay you to spin...............
It's like saying that if Clinton where to steal a sandwich from the DELI it's no big deal. But if bush where to steal a a sandwich you have to put his feet to the fire. Dont you think there is a double standard in your reasoning.

But the guy you use as key evidence is a UFO nut, not a very great source for what you are trying to make a point about. And his point was about UFOs and he really doesn't give whole lot of background either; of why Clinton did this.

yes i understand cat but it's only nuts like these guys that keep intricate details about everything. I googled the doctrine and this was the best source with a complete and easy to get copy of the doctrine. It doens't change the fact that clinton signed this guy into law
