    Republican leaders just sent out a notice looking for a bullhorn and leadership aides are trying to corral all the members who are still in town to come speak on the floor and sustain this one-sided debate.

    Also, Republicans can thank Shadegg for turning on the microphones the first time. Apparently, the fiesty Arizona conservative started typing random codes into the chamber's public address system and accidentally typed the
    correct code, allowing Republicans brief access to the microphone before it was turned off again.

    You've made the accusation. Now provide the evedence. Republicans have an "all of the above" energy policy but democrats want to exclude coal, oil, and nuclear. Democrats have blocked any attempt to drill for more oil for the past 30 years. Now Republicans want to spend more time in congress to resolve this issue and you critisize them for wanting to work on America's behalf? I suppose you would rather them go on a five week vacation and do nothing? Therein lies the problem with Pelosi's Do nothing House! But in light of this I shall await more of your replys (all of which will probaly be more talking of bitch slapping and personal attacks).     Exactly how has he done that? The value of the dollar comes from the strength of the American economy. The strength of the american economy depends on people actually buying stuff. The more they pay for oil the less they spend on other things. This not only slows down the economy but it also causes less tax revenue for uncle sam. Unless our energy problem is fixed you can expect more of this activity. Weather you hate Bush or not this problem needs to be solved. It looks as though Democrats are not up to it as they would rather go on vacation.

    Great job Toby in this presentation. A lot of work getting the truth out, that the mainstream media won't do. This link keeps you busy and full of resources that are undeniable. Went through most, and have followed it most of the day yesterday, and last night.

    Frankly I was disappointed in Fox News calling this a "prank". As if working for the people, to do the bidding of the people in ways that would realistically help every American reduce the cost of fuel is a prank.

    Imagine if this were a Gingrich led Congress and the libs wanted to increase the minimum wage. If Newt did half of what Pelosi did on that issue, the MSM would be out front on this and would be painting Gingrich as insensitive, blah, blah, blah.

    Now apparently this has has some effect, that even the "Messiah" is changing his "Change" message of today to consider off shore drilling. Something tells me that Bush will order them back to vote on this, and the libs will once again look like they have met the "roadrunner" .

    No, I would prefer that when they get back from their vacation, they find their belongings packed for them, I prefer that every last damn one of them, their lobby buddies, their corporate handlers and their lackeys GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR CAPITAL!

    I can't help you if you are stuck in the paradigm that one party is better than the other. They have both sold out We the People for poitical and financial gain, every last one of them. It's a racket. Pure and simple. How anyone can't see this is beyond me.

    How can anyone, from either party, hope to craft solutions that benefit the People when they have to spend 99% of their time manuevering to keep their political and power bases. Ridiculous.

When I hear of someone in the position of "political leader" (HA), parading around with a picture of an Iseta with a sail on it... it's not what it says about anyone else that disappoints, it's the juvenile media pandering. I would expect to see that in highschool.

    Business has the right of self interest as long as it doesent break the law by restricting us from our natural born rights. Goverment is to make thoes laws. The people are to hold them accountable. It seems to me that you are willing to do away of goverment all togater. That will be great wouldent it?

    America is the greatest country in the world and the last hope for true liberty. No matter who you compare us to we still come out on top. Our system of goverment is the best in the world. Our political accountability by the people are not. If this is to be the natural cycle of things I wont get in its way. But I will be damn sure that I participate! Else I am a bad american citizen and I have let my country down. You seem to have no opinion at all of wht we should do about energy. Ive seen what the dems wont and Ive seen what the republicans wont. I know the republicans have a better plan so I will support them. They cant afford to fail with there unpopularity!
