Adults understand this....
I love it when people are duped by the media & the McCain campaign to distort what Obama has always stated into something else.
See this is how you false construct reactionaries work.
If Obama said I will take troops out regardless of the conditions on the ground-he's running from the fight.
If Obama says I'm going to keep troops there based on the conditions on the ground he's lying & tricking you.
No the only ones getting tricked are the people whom choose to let others in the media interpret what Obama says for them & then post what they 'think' is going on. Based on others interpretations.
The only thing it's consistently displayed is reactionary idiots.
As Obama has repeatedly stated & I'm paraphrasing, he will get us out as intelligently as we stupidly got in.

Crow this media hype from the McCain camp is not really about Obama, but their own eternal Iraq war plan. It is clear Obama's visit to Iraq to take stock of conditions on the ground and his plan to slowly extricate ourselves from Iraq has threatened them . The GOP will take whatever Obama says on Iraq and frame it as a flip flop or inexperience because the majority of Americans (rightfully so) are against the Bush/McCain policy of eternal war.
This is almost as petty as the flag pin drama or the moment of connectedness between he and his wife of a modern high five being portrayed as a gang sign. the Rove/GOP machine must be really worried. they look more desperate with each political ploy and attack.
In answer to the original question...this poster does not feel abused...she is amused watching the desperation of the Rove/GOP machine.

This is all one statement released by Obama.
Obama Offers Plan to Stop Escalation of Iraq War, Begin Phased Redeployment of Troops | U.S. Senator Barack Obama
The first version:
WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) today introduced binding and comprehensive legislation that not only reverses the President's dangerous and ill-conceived escalation of the Iraq war, but also sets a new course for U.S. policy that can bring a responsible end to the war and bring our troops home.
The second version:
"Our troops have performed brilliantly in Iraq, but no amount of American soldiers can solve the political differences at the heart of somebody else's civil war," Obama said. "That's why I have introduced a plan to not only stop the escalation of this war, but begin a phased redeployment that can pressure the Iraqis to finally reach a political settlement and reduce the violence."
Obama is talking out of both sides of his mouth and his campaign is the source. lol

Coming form the body of your posts I have no doubt you cannot comprehend this so your response is not a surprise.
Nothing you've presented is different than what I stated.
I know you can't figure that out so I won't waste my time explaining it to you.

No you are attempting to distort against a person who understands complexity, facts & truth.
I understand after years of double speak stupidity that it's become what one thinks is standard.
It takes time to detox from Dubyaism...

Wow, your two examples....essentially said the same thing. " In bold" applies to your post. Whomever has the dirty job of extricating us and undoing 8 years of damage will have to carefully consider each step and be agile with their decision making. We broke down the door for terrorists and instability the simple stupid way. We have moved from a slow economic bleed in Iraq to a hemorrhage and wow...it is not making you safer in Kansas.
It will take a highly complex, thoughtful, agile and intelligent approach to reverse some of the damage and that approach needs to be made by someone with integrity and critical thinking ability.
Your support of a single minded "stay the course with eternal war" will view any other approach as a threat and the GOP will feed you propaganda like flip flopping to fuel your simple mindedness.

This is a general statement & I often times see it play out. There has been a serious dumbing down of politics...in all reality since Reagan but it's really come to an apex under Bush.
As far as jumping ship....Sorry I ain't jumping on a ship that is currently sinking & on fire.
