I hear you STUPID republicunts drop that term every chance you get and have yet to hear ANYONE definition.

How can something be won when there is no standard for what the word means?

So c'mon all ye chickenhawks, Iraq veterans and idiot neo con ditto heads - DEFINE THE TERM as it pertains to Iraq.

It's pretty simple to define "winning" if you pull your head out of your ass long enough to see that we are almost there.

1) A democratically elected government that enables Iraq to return to normal international relations. A government that has fair representation for all of the sectarian groups & categorically rejects Islamic extremism. This was not possible under the previous regime.

2) A secure Iraq with a self sufficient, well equipped, and well trained military and police force. One that is capable of repelling terrorist groups and outsiders (Iranians) who are looking to create havoc on it's infrastructure, it's people, and it's government.

3) The re establishment and production of Iraq's natural resources, with the net proceeds being invested in the people, infrastructure, and future of Iraq. This was not a possibility or a reality under the previous regime.

4) The establishment of a long term alliance between Iraq and the US, which insures a permanent US military and civilian presence in the region for peacekeeping, advisory, and security purposes.

5) The timely and peaceful withdrawal of US combat forces who leave behind a stable and secure environment for the Iraqi people to control their own destiny. This was not possible under the previous regime.

6) Ticker tape parade through the canyon of heroes for returning US troops who have voluntarily answered the call of duty and performed their mission in heroic fashion. Every American should be proud of their duty, honor, and courage and welcome them home in victory rather than defeat.

This ones simple. Bush defined it on day one. I'm paraphrasing it, "The Iraq war will be won when Iraq can defend itself, sustain itself and be any ally on the War on Terror".

I've posted this a thousand times. You must be dense.

Come on fess up puke, we know your fears. You're afraid we'll win, and hope and pray we lose. Imagine the visual that has your ass popping up while you're Ally akbarring on your prayer rug. This is what you really want, right?

Americans won the war in Iraq when the Iraqi people turned on the Al Qaida and Iranian terrorists. That was about two years ago.

The Al Qaida apologized but it was far too late. It's all over now!

The war is over now.
The US troops are conducting a supportive police action now.

Mission accomplished!
