You know folks, we have had several threads recently about Limbaugh & other media commentators: and the opinions have been a varied as the blues & greens of the ocean. But, I guess the real question is not so much these loud-mouths of media, as it is these not-so-very-discerning-ears of the American listening public.

By all evidence the 1930s German People were enraptured with the sound of Hitler's voice; however that did not make the voice a wise or healthy choice for the German people, and the results of that voice without discerning ears led to an enormous damage & almost destruction of the German People & their nation.

For me, the lesson is not so much the insane absurdity of the voice, but more the wisdom & analysis left to the ears that are touched by these voices: the next 10 years will have a tremendous impact on every person in America, I think every American ear need be wise & discerning, because we can be certain that the voices screaming loudly will be trumpeting their own greedy agendas. ......pjwky

I am not going to let you get away with this. I firmly reject your premise. First of all as an American who has served my country as a Marine, I have set forth daily to work hard and play by the rules. I ask nothing from govt, but to be left in peace. I am tired of getting blamed for the wrongs of which I am not responsible for. I may be white but have nothing to do with slavery anymore than blacks living today were forced to pick cotton. I have never stood in the way of the woman's movement, but because I am a male I am guilty of their slow rise upward.

People like me who choose to listen are the people who make America work. If we gave up on this, then the tax base would greatly be reduced, and so would free loaders lifestyles. We're damned tired of lazy libs who by their claim care more and try more have the edge on where the direction of our nation goes. Never mind libs never succeed in their content transfers of wealth, dominance in the running of education, every program they install fails big time, and it is people like me who get the blame.

Now you imply that we are re enacting the rise of Hitler. Well go fuck yourself. It is we who stand in the way of dictators. Last I saw Chavez backs libs, like Pelosi Reid and Obama. It is libs who support and help them rise to power, (Jimmy Carter comes to mind) If it is any group people, ideology which supports tyranny it is you and people like you. All sitting out there pumping your chests saying we care for the poor.

You'll have your convention in Denver, and fence off protesters, and proclaim free speech. You'll hide the homeless there, and pretend it doesn't exist. You see failures but can quickly assign them to the right. Katrina comes to mind. Never has anyone criticized Nagin, and the people took care of the bitch governor by electing Jindal.
