No it failed because WW refused to compromise and insisted that he would be the only one to negotiate for the US. |

What history book are you reading that Wilson didn't care much for WW1. He couldn't wait to get us involved in it. There was absolutely no reason the United States should have been involved in that war, none what so ever. To say Wilson didn't care about the war is sheer ignorance.
