a) Obscene?

b) Pornographic?

c) A frigging coffe cup?

d) Another religio-right grab at relevance?

e) Inspirational?

I don't think I noticed either until last week. That's when I heard that some wierdo Christian group is all upset about it. Probably Dobson's group. He doesn't like much of anything that lives under the sea.

Oh, this reminds me of my Constitutional Amendment. "The Media should not be allowed to report on ANY news story concerning a group whose membership is less than 1,000 people."

Joking of course, but I don't care when "some group" says anything. One can find "some group" to say something about anything. The world would be so much better off if it was legally mandated to avoid giving so much attention to stupid people.

If anyone is going to complain about how coarse we are becoming a better place to start are the KY Jelly commercials. Or perhaps those commercials for the herpes medication or the toilet paper using bears. The big bear is supposed to shit in the woods, not in some refined bathroom!!!!

At least with the tv shows you know they are going to be crude. what do you tell your grandchild who wants to know what does the KY Jelly do to......
well you know

George, I live in the mountains of East Tennessee. The nearest Starbucks is at least 65 miles from here! So, I think I will pass on getting the cup of coffee. I did look on the Starbuck's website and seriously don't think much of the mermaid. It just looks like a stylized drawing. I never even knew there was a mermaid on the cup until now.

The mermaid is pretty innocuous stuff, imo. But I thought SpongeBob was pretty innocuous, too. Maybe I'm just a liberal.
