Since the Republicans have been on the wrong side of every issue of concern to ordinary Americans; Social Security, the war in Iraq, equal rights, civil liberties, church- state separation, consumer issues, public education, reproductive freedom, national health care, labor issues, gun policy, campaign-finance reform, the environment and tax fairness.

No political party could remain so consistently wrong by accident.

The only rational conclusion is that, despite their cynical "family values" propaganda, the Republican Party is a criminal conspiracy to betray the interests of the American people in favor of plutocratic and corporate interests, and absolutist religious groups.

But alas, this party of losers will be extinct in less than eight short months.

What Republicans should due is raise taxes on these ordinary people, force them to pay for Govt. healthcare, pay higher gas taxes, fund free education and healthcare for illegals, pay for a $10 Billion annual energy fund and pay higher interest rates so the value of the US dollar increases and Europeans can make more money selling their products to Americans.

- They have provided $11 Billion in tax breaks to oil companies that have given them record profits for the last several years.

During the last two years, with dimocrats holding a majority, gas prices have continued to go up, funding for the war (they promised to end) has continued, the housing market has fallen on hard times, illegal immigration has continued flood this country with cheap, unskilled labor, and the vaule of the dollar has continued to fall.

Yep, they made "change" alright. The names over a couple of post offices and the minimum wage went up, but not as much as gas, and many food items.
