Why is America so hell bent on electing and praising people who have a military history? Is there something about being a witness to murder and torture that makes you more capable of being president? Being in "service to your country" is completely unimportant and a poor way of describing a hired gun. I don't hate people in the military, but they're not worth our praise or appreciation, they're just doing a job that happens to be very sinister and requires they shroud themselves in the American flag. They aren't patriots by any means, modern soldiers in America haven't fought in an even potentially honorable war for decades, not that we should glorify any type of mass violence.
