You don't plan on changing anyone's mind on these boards, that's why it's called Argue with Everyone. There's way too many dumbasses and conspiracy freaks like yourself.
Guys like kgpoolerev can only lay out the facts and hope that people will be smart enough to figure it out when they go to vote. (And if they're really smart they'll buy some oil stocks and get in on the action.)

I don't know, in this case he makes some pretty strong points. Then again, I haven't seen your facts yet. Hey, I'm opened minded. Why don't you give it a try? Or maybe you're too busy spraying your computer screen with cum?

So Commish....
TikiSoho said that the only influence that Leo Strauss had on Neocons was an appreciation for fine literature.
What do you think?

Never heard of TikiSoho. Leo Strauss wrote classical music, right? And I'm not sure what a compact car made by Chrysler has to do with anything. As for fine literature, I find it pretty hard to believe you even have a clue what that is.
Maybe you could rephrase the question...or perhaps you could just crawl over to the neighbor's yard and fuck their poodle.

The only place Crowley deserves in the forums is on ignore lists. Crowley is not even as good as a broken clock as a broken clock is right twice a day.
Does anyone believe that a 10% margin is gouging?
The state of Nc makes more per gallon of gasoline than Exxon. Who is gouging? Between the direct tax and corporate taxes the federal government makes a lot more per gallon than Exxon. Again who is gouging?

KG is the winner; he's also absolutely right; Exxon by the numbers clearly did not have windfall profits.
Exxon actually had a decrease in profit margin which is more significant than the increase in profit it gained by increase of sales.
Exxon's stock has actually shown this - and if the Government were to go after Exxon-Mobil for this; not only would Exxon say "shut the fuck up the law is on our side" which it is...
But Exxon would also probably turn off the "gas spicket" and fuck the Government in the asshole...
A 10% profit margin is about the profit that a farmer would receive, it's fairly low.
