Getting a degree and being educated are no longer the same thing unfortunately.

Peer promotion has pretty much taken over at the university level as well.

Besides, 1) you can't teach an idiot to think, and 2) the world does not need more Liberal Arts/Business majors.

Did you both miss the part where i said a "degree" is not the first and last word in Education, or did you just choose to ignore it ?

Someone has to work at IHOP, and if they can make a living working there, they have nothing to apologize for.
If while they are working there, they do not choose to look for a job where their degree is applicable, that is on them

Bottom line, the one with the degree, certification, or diploma will get the good paying job before someone who doesn’t, 99% of the time.
The person who is educated, will have the initiative to be productive more so then those who are uneducated, EVERY time
