Believe me, if there's a way they can find a way to tax you for using that skateboard you'd be able to ride it anywhere!!
New York City just passed a speed limit law for bicyclists . Last time i bought a bike it didnt have a speedometer.

European train system does well for them, but we have so much land to cover that it would be really hard to get everyone where they need to go. The problem is that Amercia is just too big for our transit needs.

We were talking about this at work the other day. Someone claimed they heard demand has continued to climb but I know it didn't climb another 30% in a year. It's the BS traders claiming whatever they can to increase risk into the calculation.
But wait my firends, there is hope: http://www.wired.com/news/wiredmag/0...ory_page_prev2.
We need electric cars and windmills. electric cars will increase demand for electricity so we build windmills on our great lakes and coastlines and wallah! No more oil dependency from the middle east. We can let China waste their money blowing it up for oil. I know its not that simple but lets us not forget, there is hope.
Can you tell, I 'm a big windmill guy.

My Ethanol rant is on the other thread, we are fools...plain and simple...a little self examination would be in the best interest of the American consumer at this point...

Exxon Mobil posted 2nd quarter net profits of $10 billion on gross sales (revenue) of $99 billion. About 10%.
Their net profit (in US dollars) rose 36% from the same quarter in 2005.
