on poor Mel Gibson. Every channel I looked at this morning is interviewing Jews who are calling him an anti-semite. I wonder - if Gibson had gotten drunk, crawled out of his car, and started yelling disparaging remarks at, say, Cajuns, would he be getting the same attention??? No fuck**g way, Jose! Who runs the media in America anyway?

We get it George, you don't like Jews. If he would have said things about blacks or Hispanics it would have been on the news, and it would not mean that the media is controlled by either of those groups. It makes the news primarily because of all of the things he said a couple of years ago when making "The Passion of the Christ" when he stated he did not have anything against Jews although he grew up in a house which denied the Holocaust. It is being used as a rebuttal to his previous statements.

Point is, he DIDN"T yell Cajun.

Mel slipped and said something he should not have. So sue him. I guess nobody here as ever said anything that they wish they could take back. Anyway in about two weeks everybody will have forgotten and moved on.

For the last two thousand years they have been forced to leave one place after another. They have been forced to segregate themselves form the rest of society, they were blamed when the Black Death hit, they have been blamed when a country is experiencing economic problems, they have been used as scapegoats for a multitude of reasons. How is that "playing" victim? The idea of giving them their own country was just not only seen as a way to give them a place where they would not be subject to pogroms, but also a way for Europeans to get rid of the 'troublesome' Jew. It was not a new concept. They have hardly been playing 'victim'. When they were forced to leave other countries I am sure you would not have wanted them here.

I will bet all he said was Jews were killing Arab children, then calling it unintentional and apologizing through a slick Jewish PR flack.

I don't know what he actually said, but it was reported that he said that every war is caused by Jews.
