Can someone please tell me what the difference between a "global" war and a "world" war is?

Its being adjusted as I type.. Why not be more selective and rid the world of those who want to die anyway? Who says 72 virgins will still be available next week? If they are in a rush to die, we should assist them without suicide belts.

I don't know if we should call the several decades of attacks on Americans around the world by Muslim fanatics a world war or not. What's in a name? Whatever we call it, we'd better start taking it seriously. Hezbollah in Iran has just announced that it is World War III, and that they welcome it. They claim to have 2000 trained agents ready to launch terrorist attacks against American interests.

When Bush declared war on Iraq he was stating that war and US military might is the solution to all the world's problems (this belief has strong support among some circles in the US). What he did was open Pandora's Box of war so now war is now the first choice solution to problems.
The is an old Chinesse aphorism that says "He who starts an argument with his fists is left with no alternatives." That seems to be the road down which we are being led. War is the ONLY solution. Only self-preservation will stop it.
