-Nowhere in that quote does it imply a person must lie of create a faslehood.
-It's pretty clear in what was said without need of fabricating a false meaning as you did.
-The OP was writing a paper to support the opposition side of a highly political issue. What the OP wrote was not in my opinion a reasonable argument but in fact a weak argument which only helps to support his own preference.
I was given an assignment to debate in college that I absolutely was against. Yet, I knew I had to argue/debate it as best I could which I did to the best of my ability. Had I received the side I agreed with the assignment would've been much easier. My debate was strong not a half assed attempt.
