monogamy can help to keep you safe. but remember tattoos, piercings, blood transfers, and a dozen other things can aid in moving the virus around.
not to mention the fact that were you tell your kids (if and when you have them) that being straight means they are immune, they coudl infected easier. either from sharing needles/ink or unprotected sexual activity.
