About half of all AIDs cases can be traced back to male to male sex. About 30% can be tracked back to Male to Female sex. The next biggest number is from drug users. Following that is people with pre-existing conditions of various kinds.

Also to note. AIDs is on the Decline in America. Mostly because of testing and better and cheaper medical care for it.

This notion that it is solely gay is ludicrous. Look at Africa where AIDS is most prominent among the sick. Few if any of those people got it from gay sex. I do believe AIDS was traced back to Africa as well.

Aids flourishes among the fags because of the damage that fag sex does to the body....allows it to enter. Aids can enter through damage like that, and it can enter other ways. Fags have seriously unclean habits and fags are usually in or very near to the drug community....aids enters that way as well. I've heard many different theorys. including the fact that their is virus in primates that is almost identical to HIV.

gay people are not 'filthy'. anal sex can transmit HIV easier. but what people forget is the gay community is smaller than the straight one. its easy for disease to be passed around when there is isolation.

and condoms do protect people from most STD exposures. of course everyone who is sexually active should get tested at least every 6 months. and you should always use protection.
but most people with multible partners do not desire to lessen the number and that could help to make their life safer as well.

AIDS began in Africa, then transferred to Haiti then to America. The original origin of the disease was in monkeys. Researchers believe that the diease was transferred during hunting expeditions, butchery and possibly while looking for a polio vaccine. The first cases were reported in Africa in 1959 - this man was not gay. Aids is to believed to have entered the US sometime around the late 60's.

One of big reason AIDS and HIV spread amoung the US was simply due to lack of education. There was no information about AIDS & HIV, no one knew what in the hell was happening, before it was too late. People spread rumors, such as, you can't get it though oral sex, if you douch you'll be fine, it never happens to virgins, and so on and so forth. People are stupid - and stupity is not a gay/straight issue. It's a worldwide epedemic.

The truth is anyone who says "AIDS and HIV is God's punishment", is simply uneducated and scared. Perhaps scared of contracting the illness themselves. Fear is usually a very big motivater behind words or actions of hate. Frightened people tend to speak and act irrationally. Look, for example, at how those with TB were once treated, or leppers. Long in our history people with life threating illnesses have existed. And so have the ones hating them. Thus is life, and the world goes round.

There are things you can do. Volunteer for instance. I do this quite often. I also give to charities (tax write off), Change the world through action. And raise your children to the same.
