Meth..the gays drug of choice.....
In Los Angeles, the number of gay men tested for STDs who report using crystal meth has jumped from 18 percent in 2005 to 25 percent in 2006, the Los Angeles Times reported. The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center tested 6,360 gay men last year for HIV and other STDs, and one out of four men reported having used the drug at least once. In 2005, the center tested 5,300 gay men. Gays who use crystal methamphetamine are five times more likely to test positive for HIV.
The center's manager for crystal meth recovery, Mike Rizzo, told the Times that meth is linked to HIV transmission because it lowers inhibitions, which may result in unsafe sex. Some people also use meth to cope with being infected with HIV. Rizzo said 43 percent of newly infected patients report some meth use. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health cited a 2005 study this week that said about one out of every 10 men who have sex with men reported using meth during a six-month period. This number is 20 times higher than among the general population, county public health director Jonathan Fielding said.
Keep hittin the pipe Homo's!

meth is very popular in the gay community for about three reasons-
1- gay men with internalized homophobia can't have sex without it
2-meth is easy to make
3-the dealers go to where their client base is. many meth dealers go to gay communities and surrounding areas to sell. when they go to clubs they sell a lot. drunk people are much easier to talk into trying drugs
apart from the gay community, meth is becoming more popular than marijuana in large cities. its heavely addicting, cheap produce and buy, and easy to make in your own home.

I live in a rural area and it's around out here to, not just large cities. Despite what this thread insinuates, heterosexuals like it every bit as much as gays.

It has seen the biggest increase in rural communities, what is the point of the thread?

It looks like the thread starter has a case of what is commonly referred to as homophobia.

It's all around where I live. In Wa, you now need a prescription to buy cold medicine with pseudoephedrine in it. That has cut down on the labs, but before then, rural areas were the places of choice to make it. Now, most of it is coming from out of state, much more popular than weed.

Actually Bikers were making/dealing meth 30 years ago. Guess it is like all drugs. Starts in one culture, than becomes the 'in' drug for others.

Yes, this is in the state of TN too. This legislation did not come into place due to the 'fags' in Memphis or Nashville, this was due to how out of control in got in the mountains of East TN with the Hillbillies that vote for White Republicans (truth be told)...actually, I think meth heads probably vote for no one because they are not making it to the polls.
These 'faggot' threads are so informative...
She must be a 'fag'...
