4. Augusta State has to make sure they do not graduate people who are unprofessional (which she will be, in this particular profession)

She is definitely entitled to her religious beliefs and views; however, I have to agree this is not her profession. Counseling means you have to have to adhere to a high standard of professional practices and principles, which includes the ability to interact with people that come from different cultures, races, and have different sexual orientations, etc. Just as another example, what if she was pro-life, which most likely she is, and had a bias against a women patient that had or is considering an abortion. This would also interfere with sound clinical judgment.

But if she was dealing with a student who didn't like gays, not only should she be allowed to discriminate against that student, but she should be URGED to discrimante against that student.

It is ok to be a faggot, but it is not ok to be a Christian. Especially because christians founded this evil homophobic country that I still live in because I'm too lazy to move.

And of course we all have to take classes in college and university we didn't like - she needs to get over it.

I rarely agree with you, but this is one of those times. Someone with her beliefs who is entering a profession such as school counseling is like a an avowed vegetarian who wants to work in a meat packing plant. Such a vegetarian would only have an interest in working for a meat packing plant if the ultimate goal was to sabotage the meat industry. That's what I believe she is trying to do to the counseling profession. There is no science that backs up her belief system and psychology is rooted in science. Therefore, in this case, the discrimination against her is justified.
