However, I do agree that many European nations have not had a good policy towards racial minorities. Tho' Britain should not be tarred with the same brush.
Britain does have a better track record of dealing with minorities than others. But what about the whole "White Man's Burden" mentality that was coined by Kipling? They certainly treated the Indians and other indigenous people like second class citizens, and this was in the 20th century.
That I cannot deny.
However, if we were to go into the history of all nations there would be many racist incidents. Not just Britain, Europe or America. Today, India and the UK are friends, and are both in the commonwealth.
