So mr Al Blanco the white knight, what are your thoughts on Putin (that ex KGB thug)

I think, Mr. Moggy the black knight, that Putin is just a result of our inability, once again, to live under democracy. In the end of 80s, everybody dreamed about democracy, private property and all that stuff which was forbidden under the communists. But for democracy you have to compromise. If you cannot do it you need a czar to keep country from a civil war. By the way, why do you think that Putin was a thug? He was a very soft spy in GDR (our ally then).

Sorry Al blanco, in this country Putin is discribed as that.

Why ‘sorry’? I am not a great supporter of Putin. You can write anything you want about him as long you don’t fear the FSB Actually, I doubt that they will send a troop of thugs so far, no matter what you write about him

Difficult to say. Actually, he has advisers of all kinds. Some are quite pro-West. It seems that now they will try to realize the idea of creating two parties for giving up power from one to another. It is what I would support.
By the way, what are you political views, Moggy? Are you a communist or something?

Yessss!!! It is a moment, when my English fails me completely.
Thornbird, what means ‘are one in the same...’? In Russia we put dots instead of rude invectives. What does it mean in English? And ‘any other takers in this’. Where are there a verb and a noun? Could you repeat it in other words so that I could understand it?

The main problem of Russia, I think, that there are oil and gas here. There are too less oil to live as in Suadi Arabia and too much of it to do anything else.
When we began to build our capitalism we thought that capitalists would build roads, houses, stadiums and the like. They didn’t. They were sucking oil and took themselves what communists had built for their brothels and gyms.
Abramovich spent a billion on Chelsea. He says that it was his money. But in our constitution it is said that all treasures of the soil are property of the all nation. How the guys could get billions if it was not their property?
Putin could jail Khodorkovsky because he didn’t want to pay the Kremlin but if he is hard on other guys they will just run away with money. If he seizes all oil companies and they begin to be the state property again, all money will pour in pockets of state officials. Do not envy Putin, he has a hard job

I am sure that Mr. Putin has a difficult job as do all leaders of countriers. Tell me about what products are in stores for all the citizens to buy or purchase.
