Default World War 3

Do you thin that we are on the verge of World War 3? Who do you think it’ll be between?

Yes, and those involved will be those unfortunate enough to have supported either side.

Yes I do and I believe that it will be the US and China.

That would be like Caveman Lee fighting Marvin Haglar. Not a chance in hell for China to win. Nuclear exchange? China, because communists believe in BIG factories and industries rather than several smaller ones, provides fewer but better targets.

Their Navy would not make it past Taiwan before it was rusting at the bottom of the ocean. There is no resource in China worth us going after and there is no way in hell China could ever invade us. They would not even get to within sight of the shores of Hawaii.

I do not doubt that there is anyone they would allie themselves with in a shooting war against the US that would be worth the economic damage. Who would provide the same market that the US does?

China and the US in a shooting war? Not likely.

That still doesn't change my mind. I do believe it will be nuclear as well. In case you want to know why I believe the way I do read my thread here

I'm with you on this Scoody and AYFR I know what you are saying. You won't even notice WWIII(come WWIV), as it will be a whole lot of major struggles across the globe. Africa, Asia and the crucial South East of Europe. I don't see war in central or west Europe or in the North Americas, there may however be revolutions in South America, that cross borders. Much as what we see right now only a bit more involved. China will enter into conflict with anybody who tries to annex the oil rich platforms in Eastern Europe, not to obtain but to show whomever that they are wrong to do so. That is China Pop Control.

It doesn't make sense for China to fight with its biggest customer. If you were selling billions of dollars worth of goods to your neighbor would you want to fight him? Myself personally I'd be thinking of new ways to spend my money.

Actually I think it will start when Israel gets pushed to the point they are forced to use Nukes. At that point ALL the Muslim countries will pile on them, we will be forced to come to their aid, China, who needs oil, will side with the Muslims, Russia, who doesn't need oil, will side with us. China will use this as a excuse to invade the northern Russisn oil fields. England will, as always, be on our side, and the French will surrender to EVERYONE.

If there is a world war 3, which there will most likely be, it is going to most certainly involve the USA. They'd most likely have a primary conflict with some Asian power who comes to the backing of some middle eastern places. World war 3 will set in only when there are more alliances with the countries that are currently getting anhilated in the middle east, and that probably won't happen until after this whole Lebanon-Israel and Afghanistan-Iraq business concludes. Give it 10 years. Still, we can only hope for the best.
