Think of racism as global warming? Who benefits from the perpetuation of the cry of racism, Republicans, no. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP and the democratic party. No racism, no Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton or NAACP as we know it. To them racism will always be the central problem in this country.

Global warming, same thing. Who benefits from it, Republicans, no. Al Gore, Howard Dean, academia and yes, of course the DNC. It's brilliant.

What debate would that be? I've never witnessed a debat on global warming. Yes I listen to Fox but I travel a lot and I also listen to Air America. When I get the chance I read the Times on line and catch the network evening news at least once a week.

Before you go off on Fox, do you watch it? Who is the closed minded between us?

I say it's the truth & I have plenty of links of people whom are concerned about these impending changes. One of the biggest groups concerned about it, interestingly enough is Lloyd's of London the major insurance backer of all insurance. I can tell you they are not very excited by the realties unfolding because they have to back all the other insurance companies that will have to deal with these inevitable changes.

What the hell does the media gain by stating & discussing the realities of these changes? What are the political objectives?

Even Dubya has admitted the reality of CC, and the argument has moved on to what we are to do about it.

No one benefits from Global warming. It is & will be an unfolding nightmare.

It is a pathetic & narrow minded statement to say there is benefit from a massive upheaval in the entire system of the planet.
If we do not find ways to adapt to the unfolding reality in the next century because we cannot stop it, It's too late, we are going to feel a lot of human pain.
