Thats how music is orchestrated. Most "Western Music" is comprised of 3 chords. That applies to all genres. Love Johnny Cash, but lets get real here.

Oh. I fully agree about country music, but most of that shit sucks too.

The best music is music that's original & doesn't sound like everything else in some "genre".

That's one thing I like about Beck. Always coming up with something that doesn't sounnd like anything else he's done.

There's still good music out there, it's just getting harder to hard to find & doesn't fit into any category.

    Default metal FAIL part II

When we let rip with our "Metal FAILs -- Volume I," people were pissed -- mainly because we didn't include their favorite fails. So in the grand tradition of whoring ourselves for populist acclaim, and thus perhaps thousands of grubby fingers clicking on the same links, we've brought you the sequel: "More Metal FAILs" or "Son of Metal FAIL," depending on what you want to call it.

    Son of Metal FAIL
I think it's time we faced the truth about failed metal. Some music just sucks. Some music is just great. This whimpy fru-fru airy silliness about "it's just my opinion" is just people freaking out when they realize other people can figure out they listen to doofus music.

Emo rock music band gets trolled over the intertard and throws tantrum in real time. Ongoing discussion: Anti-Humanism Blog Archive Ritual, mediocre black metal interview

Hatred, applied with consideration, makes life better for the rest of us.

    That's my 2 cents.
It's where their descent into emotional crap began. At this point, based on their last two albums, they should change the name of the band, since everything else has changed.

Metal isn't a platform for sniveling about human issues. Jazz, rock, country, rap have all that covered.

Metal along with its ancestor classical stands apart and above as a keeper of sacred eternal places: horror, awe, conflict, time and space, the heavens, hells burning and freezing, power, things mightier than any one or all of us put together.
