As I see it, it's Hillary vs. the other 5 or 6 guys. As Biden, Edwards, Kerry, etc. begin to fall by the wayside, their support will go to Richardson (or maybe Vilsack or Bayh). At any rate, Hillary will never have more than 41% of the party's support. She will not get the nomination.

"Guiliani has the tough guy macho thing which is all you need to get most Republican's votes."

>>>Giuliani also favors abortion and gay rights. How many Republicans are going to get on board with that?

I believe that she acually may get nominated. the chances aren't great but it is still possible

That wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen. I'd take her over McCain. Maybe not Giuliani.

"He is not the antichrist but he is a really bad president."

>>>Without a doubt, the worst president of my middle-aged lifetime. People WOULD be considering him the anti-christ, but anti-christs have to be at least 40 points brighter on the IQ pole than Bush.

I think 41% is more than enough. The reason it works is that people tend to jump on the bandwagon of the leader. Unless all of the rest of the support goes to one person, Hillary wins. I think she will get it just because while Richardson or someone like that would get a lot of support, it would come from the "right" of the Democratic party - DLC types. The people on the left will go to another alternative. Russ Feingold is someone I think we should keep an eye on. The only thing is that if two or three others still have a shot, they're not going to want to get out. And people who do get out will see her as the frontrunner and may endorse her.

>>>I just think all the focus is on Hillary right now. That'll change as soon as somebody else becomes viable.

I am hoping for a decent Republican nominee...we willl see but that being said i think hilary would be a good president if she agrees to turn her back on on her original healthcare reform. so far she has. mass. has a healthcare reform that looks viable .It will be interesting to watch and see if it works.
Bush regime has been the worst i think in the history of my lifetime and i am sure i am the oldest on this forum.

Well you must have been asleep through Nixon's, and Johnsons. You did say that you are retired right? So in a normal definition that would make you at least 60.

Yeah, it isn't really that Bush is the worst. It is just that you are a reet.
