Dizzy, be careful now. Alot of Southerns owned slaves in in the 17 and 1800's. After Lincoln issued the Proclmation Act that freed slaves, many moved north heading for a better life.

I haven't researched his family line but his great-great (?) grandfather was a writer of the most bigoted tracts against blacks that you can find. His family were big in the founding of Virginia which is one of the most historically bigoted states in the nation.

Yeah. Rasta will get his panties in a bunch over Senator Lott but he is peculiarly silent about the ONLY KKK member in the Senate.

And some of the biggest slave owners were themselves black.
