I don't think she was wrong to stick with him. And I'm pretty sure she knew about Bill's philandering ways for years and years before. Either she has a very patient and forgiving side to her, or she's staying with him for other reasons... such as political power. They do make a very strong team. My guess is it's more the latter, but of course I can't know for sure.

Hillary has no forgiving side. This will reveal itself once she takes a few political hits and bares her claws. The real show of the 2008 will not be the Presidential Election, but the Democratic Primaries. The carnage will be telling, and in the end, it will be Hillary still standing amid the bodies.

I agree with your assertion but I honestly don't know who will be standing. The way both parties are lining up they are not helping themselves or the voter. I think Newt Gingrich was right with his commentrary on this from last week; I don't think he was just spouting sour grapes either. He is wise though I differ on things politically with him, he does make his judgements based on a very good knowledge of history. |
