Thank you. I'm like that.
Please remember it when what I have to say about Hillary Clinton sounds like a smear, mere character assassination. That isn't my usual way, but I just have a very low opinion of her character and I will say so. I haven't seen such a dangerous combination of relentless ambition, ruthlessness and paranoia since Nixon, and she makes Nixon look like an amateur.
Btw, I'm not really a conservative, but a classical liberal, which is why I'm so opposed to what modern liberalism has become.

How sad that the two of you are so ill informed that you still think the Swiftboat stuff was FACT.
Just because it comes from a quotable source, doesn't mean it's fact. It's at best a belief. Nothing more.
I've said it a hundred times... in situations like the swiftboat crap, there are at least two sides to a story... and the truth ususally lies somewhere in the middle.

I had plenty of other reasons to oppose Kerry besides his service record, which as far as I could tell was honorable. His anti-American (IMO) activities with VVAW would've been more than enough. His policy positions would've been enough also.

Okham, I am willing to agree with you about there being 2 sides to every story but the fact is that it is still a shame that evidence like that is out there.

The very use of that term just blew you bullshit independent cover. Not like it mattered, I just think it is strange that you would be so ashamed to be a Democrat that you would lie about it. Don't be ashamed, if you really believe in that ideology then embrace it, don't pretend. You are not folling anyone . . . at least anyone with half a brain.

I thought you liked her so much because she tells you that you are the smartest person who ever lived and that you have never been wrong. Of course, you reciprocate . . . so I guess it is even.

Check your FACTS......you are in the Information Age now and your President and the GOP have lost credibility.
The Knuckle Dragging Republican Smear campaigns of the 20th Century will not work in the 21st Century.
Instead of scrutinizing and smearing a candidate for the W.H. whom you do not plan to vote for in the first place, perhaps you would be better suited scrutinizing and investigating GOP candidates for the W.H.; so you don't make the same mistake of giving America another GW BUSH!!

That's actually not a bad thought. The character of the candidates is important. But I can think of one candidate who shares G.W.'s worst fault: pigheaded stubbornness. It's Hillary Clinton. What makes it even scarier is she shares Nixon's worst faults too: paranoia, ruthlessness and excessive ambition. What a combo!

You may have something there. I want a woman pres., but can't stand Clinton. She does remind me of Nixon, sortof.
It rather amuses me to hear the Family Values crowd denounce Clinton for standing by her man. The divorce rate would be a lot higher than 60% if spouses didn't forgive each other. I think it was the prophet Hosea that God kept telling to return to his adulterous wife and forgive her. That is what a God fearing person is supposed to do. Why do they think Clinton was wrong to do just that?
