What does my low post rate have to do with anything? How does it affect the quality of my ideas, the legitimacy of my concerns or my ability to communicate via the written word?

I don’t care where you come from or what you believe. I do care whether or not you can effectively communicate. And remember it is an easy matter to put what you write through a spell/grammar checker.

Romney(sp?) is own record as an abortion supporter. Now he would have us believe that he is against abortion. This flip-flop should disqualify him. Anyone who will say whatever he thinks he should say at the moment to win votes is no better than a Bill Clinton. The man has no core values and voters cannot know what they will get if they vote for him.
Rudy is an adulterer and this means I would never vote for him (even if he were conservative on social issues like abortion).

As a result, this forum maynot be for you nor what you are looking for, however, should you decide to stay (which I doubt you will) pleases refrain from using your so called "Stellar Intellilect" to try and nullify the opinions of the posters here at AWE.
HAVE A NICE DAY "BRAINIAC"

Rastaman, I normally agree with you about minus 100 percent of the time but By God you are right on on this one. I think this guy was in here once before with the same message, speak and write like an expert or stay home playing with your pud.

flatulence. This is a debate forum, not a doctorial disertation. Most of us don't care how you spell (except when you are losing your argument and resort to being the spelling police) or what grammar you use. This forum cares only about your ideas, if we can understand what you are talking about then its ok. We don't grade on form here bubba

And like I said, it is an easy matter to put what you write through a grammar/spell checker.
If you have good writing and grammar skills, it can be physically taxing to try to read something that has poorly constructed sentences or mistakes in grammar/spelling.
Remember than when you speak you can convey your meaning by changing the tone of your voice or using facial or hand gestures. But, in print you have only grammar, punctuation and spelling.

While I agree that it is hard to follow someone who is uneducated or has typing skills that are horrible, I find that most people on this forum can get their ideas across even with the faults they display.
To question how someone can think clearly if they can't use proper grammer and spelling actually shows YOUR limitations. While it's hard to follow jimmythedude in his rants and coded messages, I can follow most posts with no problem. I also dispise people who can not finish a thought or those who continue to change subjects in mid sentance.
To scold people on bad grammer and spelling only serves to attempt, to put oneself in a high position, as if they themmselves, have thoughts and ideas above the crowd. IMHO, it's far from it. Like a person who loves to tell everyone else what degrees they have, or what post-graduate work they have done. most people realize that respect is earned by demonstrating ones skills, not correcting someone else's.
I must question if you have any formulated thoughts or ideas of your own, or if everything about you is regulated by rules and guidelines.
If you are stuck on yourself because you are in your first years of teaching, I suggest you have a glass of sherry and look in the mirror for a few hours.
Is this the person you want to live with the rest of your life ?
Maybe you don't realize that in the written word, you come across as an aggorant pompous ass. Being one myself, I've tried over the years to sand down some of the rough edges, but every now and then I just can't help myself.
As a teacher ( band director ) it is my profession to find fault and correct it. However, I don't go to a nightclub and tell the trumpet player he's ignorant and can't play jazz because he plays flat.

Can you deny that the amount of time a person puts into preparing their posts for presentation is a direct reflection on the time and effort they are willing to put into the content of their posts? Your ideas may be brilliant, but if you cannot adequately present them, what can you hope to accomplish? If your presentation skills are lacking, how can you expect to change anyone’s mind? And if you have no chance of changing anyone’s mind about the issues you wish to debate, what is the point of debating?
I pay particular attention to the spelling, grammar and punctuation for all of my posts. I do this out of respect for the English Language and as a courtesy to anyone who wishes to read what I post. Is it too much to ask that other posters show me that same courtesy?

While I agree with your feelings, I offer another view.
I, for one, hate to stop my brain flow when I have something that I want to get out. Sometimes, I just stop and change a word if I'm not sure of the spelling. "MY" problem is that I take so many medications, that if I stop to check spelling and grammer, I tend to lose my thought process. I agree that some people should run it through a spell checker, but when something is being debated or discussed in a somewhat heated exchange, to stop and do that sometimes throws things out of order.
Since my spelling is not the greatest in the world, I tend to overlook many peoples shortcomings. What drives me nuts is when someone posts one huge run on sentance. My God, at least put a break between thoughts even if you don't use perfect grammer.
When someone spells a word the wrong way, I "try" to think of it as a typo. If they continue to spell the word the same way, why not sent them a PM in lieu of lambasting them in public ? We do enough political lambasting.
I'm far from perfect and I will always have typos and misspelled words. Sometimes from my ignorance, sometimes because no matter how many different ways I try to spell it, they all look wrong.
Just be thankful that very few posters are like "jimmythedude".
I appreciate you effort in making your posts correct and easy to read but try to keep in mind that the world is not perfect.
With this being an argument forum, pepole well mispel wurds jist to pizz u off an makke ur live mesribble.
