Is McCain giving up on Pennsylvania next?
Is McCain going to throw in the towel on Pennsylvania like he did in Michigan. New voter registration figures in Pennsylvania show that Democratic registration grew while Republican registration shrank. How does McCain expect to win with a million plus Republican voter deficit? Source: Truly Newsworthy.
McCain will have to redirect his resources to North Carolina and Virginia if he wants any shot at winning.

The thing is, if he pulls out of PA it will crumble his chances in VA, NC, CO, and probably MO as well. The psychological effect would be devastating to his field operations and he would be relegated to pouring all of his money into red states that are turning purple instead of blue states he was trying to turn purple. It's more likely we see him pull out of NH first, then maybe WI. I would expect him to pour the extra funds into FL, NC, and VA to try to hold on.

I heard some of his advisers that came from the Bush camp are suggesting a new strategy...open up a campaign office in Guadalajara.

Let's not forget Ohio. McCain is in a lot of trouble there too. The funny thing is, if Obama wins NV, NM, CO and NH, then he could still lose VA, FL, OH, NC, IN and still win.

Funnier than that, if he wins CO, he can lose NV, NM, VA, FL, OH, NC, IN, and NH. He just needs 6 electoral votes and there are 9 in CO.

The problem for McCAin is that there are only about eight battleground states left, maybe six by now, and if he caves on ANY of them, he's toast, but especially Pennsylvania.
He's got to find a way to get a few states away from Obama - and sad to say, his tactics of patronizing potential voters and his general cranky old man demeanour just ain't gonna do it.
So it lucks like Obama *wins* - lucky him, he's the grunt that will have to start cleaning up the mess.
