He has chosen that tactic instead of taking on the articles face-to-face and setting the record straight. If I write in an op-ed in the NYT tomorrow that you raped and murdered a woman in 1993, you aren't going to fire back with "well it's in the New York Times, so we know what that means." you would come out and say that I was a liar. If McCain wants to salvage any credibility after these tough articles, he needs to come out and debunk them instead of attacking the writers as lefties.
Could you site a few examples of where McCain has painted somebody as part of the liberal media? I don't hear everything, but lately I haven't heard McCain use any language to that effect.

My apologies, Sen. McCain rarely comes out himself and rails against the media, since it would be hard for him to criticize what he recently called his base. However, you would have to be blind and deaf not to have seen a coordinated effort of the McCain Campaign to run against the media. McCain recently referred to conservative columnists who criticize Sarah Palin as "Georgetown cocktail party people" in an interview with the Des Moines Register. In fact, the term Mainstream Media has worked its way into Gov. Palin's stump speech as a prompt for boos and obscenities.

Funny how this stuff works. On another thread today I was talking to one of AWE's most brilliant liberal political minds, Puckhead, about virtually the same exact thing. Looks what I got back from him when I posted a link to Anenberg about the way Palin has been being slimed by a coordinated effort by the Obama campaign in conjunction with organizations like Moveon.org, Media Matters and other sleezeballs.

Obama addresses the Ayers attacks

And as far as the term "mainstream media" becoming a prompt for boos and obscenities, that's a good thing, isn't it? You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't believe it was long overdue. If plummeting ratings and revenue won't wake up these assholes, maybe Palin can.

Is that the same Annenberg that hired the radical William Ayers? Sounds like your source is discredited.

Actually I don't believe any photoshop was involved.

I don't see how I discredited Anenberg FactCheck in the least.

Is that something you'd like to do?
