I was correct. The Obama wing of CBS is completely hiding the Democrats efforts at blocking regulation and their nasty unwarranted attacks on the auditor. I also notice the liberals on AWE are hiding from this thread. Their lack of reply is very telling as their candidate has tried to blame Bush for what he and his party have done.

There is an Obama ad running right now where he is claiming we need real regulation on Wallstreet. He wants to change Fannie Mae back to Raines being in charge I guess.

Dems, gotta say, lack of any response here is extremely troubling. I am open to a counter-point, as I said on another thread on this topic yesterday, but all I am hearing is silence on that thread. Maybe a second chance to reply will bring something out?

Yes it's been talked about repeatedly, at least for me.

First it's an out of context CSPAN video from 2003.

Second it was apart of a coordinated attack by the Bush administration to destroy the democrat FDR bastion of Fannie Mae. It was called Operation Noriega. This was one small vidoe & one small round of that effort.
