Of course I think McCain is grandstanding. One would have to be out of touch to not see it.

One would have to be equally out of touch to buy the hilarity of Reid/Schumer railing against photo-ops and saying that this is "weird". It's way tooooooo much. Schumer has stampeded women and children who were too close to a microphone and TV camera. LOL!

And I'm pretty sure that Pelosi meant that their asses were covered, and the mike just didn't catch it. I do believe the coyotes and foxes are now guarding the coop. It's certainly good theater, though.

Touche' for McCain... This makes Obama look like a selfish child, and now he is pissin and moaning because he didn't think of it first.

But, come to think of it, Obama has been absent from the Senate so long now, he won't be missed anyway..

Obama has campaign mud on his face, and his suck-ass supporters are licking it off like good puppy dogs..

Let's look at who's playing politics with the economy --

    Putting Country First.

Harry Reid can’t help but play politics and continue being an embarassment. After yesterday trying to get McCain to support the bailout and take leadership in the issue:

“We need, now, the Republicans to start producing some votes for us. We need the Republican nominee for president to let us know where he stands and what we should do.”

Reid is now telling John McCain to stay away.

But yesterday, Reid demanded that the White House made sure the legislation had John McCain’s backing, and Reid floated this bogus piece of news clearly intended to force McCain’s hand: “I got some good news in the last hour or so … it appears that Sen. McCain is going to come out for this.” McCain flatly denied that he had endorsed the plan.

So Harry Reid says that it’s essential that John McCain backs legislation designed to avert the greatest economic meltdown since the Great Depression. And when McCain says the highly problematic legislation, in its current form, is not good enough, Reid tells McCain to stay away from Capitol Hill. Who’s playing politics with economic crisis?

I'll be LMAO if this works out for McCain. This could actually turn out to be a big win for him. It's a gamble, but, if all works out as planned, McCain's going to go off to Washington, the deal will get done, he will fly back in for the debate on Friday night and look like a hero. In the meantime, while McCain gets all this accomplished (you know actually working for the money that we are paying him with our taxpayer dollars)...Obama will still be sitting by the phone waiting for Washington to "call him when they need him for something." Too funny. At the debate, McCain will be able to stand up there and describe how he participated in a solution to the current economic problem...Obama will be just standing there trying to defend how he had to stay on the campaign trail and he was waiting to be "asked" if he should help...versus taking control and actually making something happen. I for one hope it works out this way for McCain so he can shut up his detractors. I find it hilarious that just yesterday, Harry Reid was saying that McCain was 'critical' to the process of getting this legislation done and that the Democrats would not sign off on anything unless McCain signed off on it...he said McCain's approval was extremely important....so today, McCain says, okay, I'll come there to Washington and help and make sure it gets done...now all of sudden Reid says McCain's input is not important and he doesn't need to come. Gee, I wonder why he changed his mind overnight? Could it be because it would make the messiah Obama look bad because he is not going to participate? Unbelievable.
