Default 9/11 Birthday

Yep, my birthday is tomorrow (9/11). I'll be 41.

Does anybody else have a 9/11 birthday on here?

It's really kind of sad because every time someone looks at my driver's license or finds out it's my birthday, they're like "awwwwe, your birthday is 9/11 ... I'm sorry." It makes me all sad. I mean, instead of me being happy because it's my birthday, I'm all kind of depressed because everybody thinks of it as a sad day. It's really sad!!! .......... BUT at least I know everybody will remember my birthday.

Why don't you make it a joyous occasion for yourself.
I am sure the families want everyone to remember the tragedy of 9/11, but having lost close family members myself(not in 9/11) my father died the night before my 13th birthday. it's sad but I tend to only remember their life and the joyous times we had together.
Birthdays are a representation of life don't let the tragic events that occurred on that day Sadden You.
EARLY HAPPY BIRTHDAY !

Kappy go and have a great day on your birthday. While I don't celebrate mine on 9/11, mine is on the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima 9 yrs after. My mom used to say I was the aftermath it just took nine years to hit home.

I hope tomorrow for is the best birthday you may ever have, and each one thereafter, many, and even better.

This old Marine would borrow the line of Clint Eastwood playing a Marine Gunny in "Heartbreak Ridge". "It makes no sense to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft". That's me, but go for it.

Thanks. And I'm sorry to hear about your dad!

This year I'm going to try to do something really fun just so I don't have to sit around and watch all the sad things they're going to run and re-run, over and over again all day long on the t.v.

Hey, I looove that movie! I bet I've watched it 20 times.

And, skydiving .... Believe me, I did once, and I will probably never do it again. I'm telling you .... It is fricken scary. I'm a thrill junkie, but skydiving ... that seriously got my attention. It was like I had an out of body experience .... seriously, I still don't remember the initial jump .... It absolutely freaked me out!!! Anyway, the only one that MAY be able to talk me into skydiving again would be my daughter. She's 17 now, but she says as soon as she turns 18, she wants to try it. BUT, we'll see ..... I don't think she'll go through with it.

Anyway, I will find something exciting to do tomorrow though. Maybe I'll just go to the beach and relax!!!

Go to a nudie beach, unless your body resembles the "Cape Code Orca" aka Teddy Kennedy, then I say go to Sea World and bond with your cousins
